Privacy Policy

This policy covers both the website (freecell.gamenow.us) and the Android app (FreeCell Mania, com.freecellmania.game). Where the two behave differently, it says so.
1. What is collected
Playing requires signing in with a GameNow account. On sign-in the game receives the GameNow account identifier (a random UUID) and nickname and creates a record account for this game. Your GameNow password is never passed to this game.

No real name, phone number, address, or date of birth is asked for or collected. No email address either. No location, no contacts, no device identifiers.
2. Cookies and advertising
The Android app has no ads. It contains no advertising SDK and collects no advertising identifier. This section applies to the website only.
The website serves ads through Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
Besides advertising, the site itself only uses the cookies sign-in needs (the GameNow sign-in session, which expires after a day). The game token is kept in the browser's localStorage.
3. Retention
Account details and game records are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. Login tokens expire after 7 days and are removed automatically.
4. Sharing
Collected information is never sold or handed to third parties. The one exception is the advertising described above, where Google may collect information through its own cookies on the website, under Google's policies.
5. Deleting your account and data
You may request access to, or deletion of, your account and records.
- Email ktg4929@gmail.com with the name you use in the game.
- After verification the request is handled within 7 business days.
- Deletion removes the account, its GameNow link, login tokens, per-deal records and leaderboard entries together. It cannot be undone.
- Records on your device (resume and personal bests) are gone once you uninstall the app or clear the browser's storage.
6. Children
This game is not directed at any particular age group, is not intended for children under 14, and does not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Login tokens are stored as hashes, so even if the store were exposed, that alone would not grant access to an account.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with its date.
